I am wondering if there are plans to include/add, a notification system such as lights, to indicate which layer is currently active. with having multiple layer set I've often gotten lost in which was the one active as I was trying to work
It's something we've asked for 
and I'd love to see it on screen, like the little icons on the top bar on macOS, you could see the icon for KeyMouse change color to the color of the label ...
... and (reminder) I also suggested that if you just sit there and hold the layer key, that eventually the KeyMouse program would pop up an on-screen layout of the current layout of the keyboard.
