I just purchased the 304 version of the keymouse and the Left Keymouse has no backlight. The right is oK

Hi Maggi. This may happen if you aren't connecting both devices together VIA the serial port (right port for both devices looking from the top.) We have included a USB mini to USB mini cord in the box. We have a diagram on page 3 of our KeyMouse Track Startup Guide showing how to plug in the new devices.
