For example, if I buy a Keymouse track with blue switches, but later decide I want to change to brown switches.

How exactly does the "Punch-Down System" work? Are there any videos of anyone changing the switches?

Also, the switches are only sold in packs of 5, not an entire board?

Hi James. The punch-down system uses 28 gauge wires to connect the keys to the Main PCB. We use a different wire per row and column. You can see how we do this in our Assembly Instructions: https://www.keymouse.com/keymouse-alpha-assembly-instructions

We currently don't have any videos showing how to change the switches, but you could use our assembly instructions as a guide. If you decide to swap all your switches, you may need to purchase new 28 gauge wires (quantities needed are listed per hand in our assembly instructions) and a 28 gauge wire punch-down tool.
