Hello. Keymouse was such a productivity boots, I recommend it to all of my friends and colleagues.
I have feature requests, which I believe will make user experience even better.
1. Layer groups. Since the number of layers was expanded I've been toying around with different setups per application, makes it easier to use hotkeys. For example 1 - general use, 2 - software development, 3 - CAD. Usually I don't need more than 4 layers per setup. It would be great to have layers grouped and have a keybind to cycle trough the groups. Currently I achieved it with a "meta" layer where I can switch between different setup "default" layers.
2. Ability to set backlight brightness per layer. I don't like the thumb buttons on the Alpha, puts strain on the thumb joints to reach all buttons. My solution is to create a "mouse" layer where J,K,L act as mouse buttons. However often times I forget I am in the mouse layer and it creates funny moments when I accidentally delete text when meant to select it. setting brightness when switching into the layer will be a good indicator enough to avoid confusion. FYI, I am a linux user and don't run Keymouse software (escalated privileges), if you are working on hardware stored macros and this feature can be achieved via combining layer switch and set brightness on key press - I'd be more than happy.
Cheers
