I got macros to work for my copy button, and paste button, which is awesome.

I'm wondering if I can create a macro that will type out
select top 100 * from databasename.dbo.
with the press of a single key. Does the keymouse software support that, and if so, how do I create said macro?

Sure. I created a quick video to show you how:
Creating a Macro in KeyMouse Software

Typically you will assign the key to F13-F24 key that is not in use by any other software. Then when you assign a macro to it, the software will intercept that key and run the macro instead. We will be adding lots of features in this area in the future. At least this is how you can do it for now.

Hello-
I'm pretty new to macro settings in KeyMouse.
What would the macro script be for copy and paste?
I am planning on using F9 for copy, F10 for paste.

Is there a time frame for the new keymouse to store macros in the device so that we don't have to keep the software running in the background? My computer does not like to have the software to be running in the background. It makes the keymouse buttons not work properly.

Hi Brett. We currently don't have a timeframe for storing the macros in the device. In the meantime, you could maybe use AutoHotKey http://ahkscript.org/ or Keyboard Maestro (Mac): https://www.keyboardmaestro.com/main/ to handle macros.

+1 for wanting stored macros. This would be a game changer for me.

So does anyone else have any problems with windows freaking out when you leave the Keymouse software open so you can run macros? After some time my keyboard inputs quit working correctly for any and all keyboards that I plug into my computer. I have to reboot the system before it goes back to normal. I have noted that it only happens when the Keymouse software is running. Also, I never had this problem before until I switched to the 300 series keymouse and software. Any thoughts or help is appreciated.
