I understand that it is possible to program a key as a combination of modifiers + another key. For example, I can have a key as a combination of Ctrl + Shift + T.
What I am looking for here is a bit different.
I would like to program a key (without using software macros) to be a combination of Ctrl + Shift only so that when a press that key together with any other key, like T, the KeyMouse sends the combination Ctrl + Shift + T to the computer.
I tried to achieve this by programming a key as "Shift" and assigning it the modifiers Ctrl (or Ctrl + Shift), but this does not work as, I assume, the modifiers are automatically released before I release the key.
From the videos, I can see that the old KeyMouse software had the option to set the modifiers to hold until released (which is probably what I need), but that option does not appear to be available anymore.
