First of, let me thank you for developing such an awesome product. Keymouse the best piece of computer equipment I've ever purchased. Thank you for your work.

Is there a way to somehow indicate what key layer is currently active? Ideally I'd love a changing color backlight in the keyboard itself but I assume the current backlights are not multicolor and that would be a hardware change. Or maybe not?

But as a much easier solution I was wondering if it's possible to indicate what key layer is active with software? Or if your software is Open Source how could I possibly go about writing an extension or something that will give me some indication of what mode is active? I find myself changing layers all the time and sometimes it's hard to remember what layer I am currently on.
